YOUR “E”
FIND YOUR E-KEY FIGURES
First of all, you need to find the data you need to create your CO2 calculation. We recommend that you ask the financial manager in your company for help, as your data can typically be found on various invoices.
You must find the above data on all the buildings that your company owns and on all the vehicles that your company owns and leases.
You will need:
Electricity bill
District heating bill
Heat bill for other fuels
Fuel bill or transportation bill
Maintenance bill for other activities and processes that use gases (e.g. refrigeration and welding)
Water bill
FILL OUT THE CLIMATE COMPASS
We will take you by the hand and guide you step by step through the climate compass. For each step you can find a video guide to help you through. You can see all the videos below.
You can open two tabs and have the video guide on one and klimakompasset.dk on the other. Remember that you can pause the video during the process and follow along.
When you have finished filling out the climate compass, you can enter your key figures in the boxes here. They will be automatically uploaded to your ESG accounts.
About the climate compass:
The Climate Compass makes it easy for companies to calculate their CO2 emissions, as you only have to enter raw data and not do any calculations yourself. It is made by the Danish Business Authority and is free for everyone. You own your data.

Tailor your ESG accounting with your own E-key ratios
In the boxes below you can enter your own measurement points that are about specific environmental conditions that you would like to include in your final ESG report. Write the title of your measurement point, insert the unit and finally write the number itself. Then it will automatically be included in your final ESG report. An example of a measurement point could be “Waste”, and the unit could be “Tons”.
